Download the powered by BaZing mobile app and tap BaZing Fuel. You’ll need to enter a phone number, agree to some terms and conditions, and link your powered by BaZing checking account. You can learn about BaZing Fuel in the Learn More section of the mobile app.
BaZing Fuel’s reward currency is a discounted fuel price at participating Shell gas stations. You’ll earn an initial reward for activating this feature, and monthly awards each month when you meet the qualifications.
In order to earn monthly rewards with BaZing Fuel, you must have at least 15 transactions with the linked checking account’s debit card that post and settle during a monthly qualification cycle. A monthly qualification cycle (MQC) is defined as the first day of the month through the last day of the month. Transactions may take one or more banking days from the date of the transaction to post and settle to your checking account, which may affect the actual MCQ to which the transactions post and settle. Only transactions posted during the MQC will count toward the monthly reward for that MQC.
ATM withdrawals, transfers between accounts, deposit transactions and refund transactions do not count toward earning BaZing Fuel rewards.
You will not earn BaZing Fuel rewards if the linked checking account has been closed, whether closed by you or your financial institution. Your financial institution will determine what constitutes a closed checking account.
Earned rewards are applied and eligible for redemption on the first day of the month following the MQC. To check your rewards balance, open your powered by BaZing app and click on the BaZing Fuel tile. If you have met the eligible transaction count for the qualifying MQC, your reward balance will be updated. If you did not, your balance would not change.
Transactions posted during the MQC beyond the monthly reward requirement will be stored to count toward a bonus reward. You’ll earn a bonus reward once you have 50 stored bonus transactions. You’ll continue to earn bonus rewards for every 50 stored bonus transactions accrued. If your required monthly reward transaction count is not met during the MQC, no transactions will be counted for any reward during that MQC or the bonus reward.

You may be asked to provide a statement from the linked checking account showing your posted transactions for the MQC being disputed. We reserve the right to adjust your reward balance if system errors or other errors prevent the awarding of rewards.
If you believe your BaZing Fuel account has been the subject of any suspicious activity, contact us immediately using the Contact Us feature of the BaZing.com website or in the BaZing mobile app.
When you activate BaZing Fuel, you’ll be assigned an identification number (“ALT ID”). You can redeem BaZing Fuel rewards by entering your Alt ID at the fuel pump at participating Shell gas stations.
BaZing Fuel is limited to 20 gallons of fuel per purchase, per vehicle. BaZing Fuel must be redeemed in a single transaction. Once you begin to dispense fuel, you must dispense to the 20-gallon limit or forfeit any remaining discounted gallons of fuel. For example, if you only pump 15 gallons of fuel, you would abandon the remaining five gallons’ worth of reward balance.
No fuel reward may be redeemed until it has been credited to your BaZing Fuel account.
BaZing does not have access to, nor store, your checking account information. We use Plaid, Inc. to gather transaction data from your financial institution to count your debit transactions to determine your BaZing Fuel reward. You will review and accept the Plaid Privacy Policy before linking your checking account.
Fuel rewards have no monetary value, can’t be converted into any currency, and can’t be applied as a credit to any payment card statement. Unbranded diesel and alternative fuels may not be eligible.
Excentus Corporation operates the BaZing Fuel program at Shell gas stations. You may not be able to redeem BaZing Fuel rewards in all states, depending on applicable state laws. Other restrictions may apply at certain Shell gas stations.

You’ll receive a one-time activation reward of $0.10 per gallon when you activate BaZing Fuel. You’ll earn a monthly reward of $0.10 per gallon each month when you have 15 eligible debit card transactions post and settle during the Monthly Qualification Cycle (MQC), which is defined as the first day of the month through the last day of the month. Only transactions posted during the MQC will count towards the monthly reward for that MQC. The following activities do not count toward earning BaZing Fuel: ATM withdrawals, transfers between accounts, deposit or refund transactions. Transactions posted during the MQC greater than the monthly reward requirement will be stored to count towards a bonus reward of $0.10 per gallon. When you have 50 stored bonus transactions you will earn the bonus reward. You will continue to earn bonus rewards for every 50 stored bonus transactions accrued. If the required monthly reward transaction count is not met during the MQC, no transactions are counted for any reward during that MQC or the bonus reward. BaZing Fuel is limited to 20 gallons of fuel per purchase, per vehicle, or fraud limits placed by Shell and/or limits placed on your payment card by your financial institution, each of which may be lower.
