StrategyCorps Voted One of the 2020 Best Places to Work in Financial Technology
We are thrilled to share that we’ve been named one of the 2020 Best Places to Work in Financial Technology! It’s great to know that our employees love coming to work every day and are motivated to put forth their best effort and support each other by the company culture that we’ve cultivated over the years.
American Banker’s annual program identifies the best employers in financial technology from a wide selection of companies. Employees are surveyed about their job satisfaction and company culture to determine the results of the competition. Out of the 49 companies in the fintech space included on Arizent’s coveted list, StrategyCorps placed 43.
While experience and talent are key factors in what we look for in potential employees, what’s just as important is whether or not they’re a good culture fit. We’re made up of lots of different talents, but we all share in our company’s mission to help banks and credit unions thrive with the technology, service, and enthusiasm that consumers of today deserve. This alignment encourages collaboration and innovation.
Benefits and Perks
An important aspect of our culture entails making life on the job extremely rewarding. We offer a suite of perks and benefits to our employees aimed at alleviating some of the stresses of everyday life. Here are just a few of those perks:
- Medical, dental, and life insurance
- Generous PTO
- 401k
- Monthly gym allowances
- Flexible work from home days
- And much more
Remote Employees
As our team continues to grow, we’ve become an increasingly remote team with Regional Directors of Sales all across the country. One challenge we’ve had to tackle is finding ways to extend everything that makes this a great place to work to our remote team members.
We regularly fly these employees to our offices in Nashville, TN, as well as to conferences and events around the country to not only offer them the chance to further their knowledge and network with other professionals in our industry but also to give them more face-to-face time with their team members. We also utilize technology, such as web conferencing and Slack, to improve communication with these team members.
Community Service
Every year we partner with The United Way to put on an internal campaign to support those in the community who need help with food, reading, writing, shelter, care, and so much more. The campaign is made up of a few pieces, including a silent auction, multiple days of volunteer work around the county, and a voluntary e-pledge where employees can offer up a portion of their paycheck each week to The United Way. All of our employees have the opportunity to volunteer in some way. While everyone gladly participated to support the cause, there were also added incentives, such as prizes and, most importantly, extra days of paid time off.
Many people’s favorite portion of the campaign was a life-size version of the Game Of Life that not only raised money for The United Way but also allowed our team the opportunity for some friendly competition and comradery between coworkers. At the end of the campaign, we had collected over $28,000 for The United Way.
